G130 YCF my first sprint car

Cheers, I have few diffs and drive shafts on the shelf, so could copy Steve’s install if I decide to. I butchered those on the car to fit the flanged Sierra LSD. Looking forward to seeing “how you done it” Steve.

G130 YCF my first sprint car

Is there an option to use the flange setup (as per 7” Sierra 3:62 viscous LSD) ?

Goodwood 6 October 2018

The weather progressively got worse. I think I was fastest in practice! Everyone got a damp first run, then some people did a wet second run before it was abandoned. I feel your pain....... Sounds like you got your two practice and one timed run? Little compensation if none of it counts due to the ...

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but wouldn't two sets of different tyres and wheels solve the problem.
Unfortunately not. Once you nail your colours to the mast that’s it for the season. No going back!

To be fair, this time last year we all agreed to review whether we keep the SSSC scoring or use the CM scoring, not sure which suits most, but would make tyre choice easier I guess Last time this was discussed I was firmly in the "keep ours at it is" camp, as my belief was that we're right and they...

It’d be a no brainer if the CM handicap for Bs was the same as ours, but at 2.5% it’d be marginal even with 200bhp.

Jim made the right call for CM. If you look at our scratch times and handicap times (CM and SSSC) for Curbs, you’ll see that he pipped me on CM scoring.

Corky's Scimitars

Looking back at the results from this year, my huge mistake (from a CM point of view) was to swap to 1B tyres. At a couple of events there would have been a scratch time advantage on 1As and at others there was no scratch advantage from 1Bs. There were no events where there was a handicap advantage ...

If I do buy something, it’d have to be eligible for CM as I am really enjoying the championship. So 4 seater beemers are out of the equation. Most likely outcome is that I run the SS1 again next year with a couple of handicap reducing tweeks. But if something non-Reliant comes up that really floats ...
