SS1 7"X13" 4x100 ML wheels for sale

Steve. You only have yourself to blame that these MLs aren't sold already. I told you not to have them done in gunmetal grey. Eugh. Yeah right   I think the problem is the PCD not the colour. I've had loads enquiries from the Ford boys hoping I'd got it wrong and that they were 108. I'll...

SS1 7"X13" 4x100 ML wheels for sale

I use two sets of wheels on my car, both with 195/50/15 tyres:-

15” 7J ET28
15” 6.5J ET38 (These were for an MX5 mk2, and could actually do with a 3mm spacer, but they don’t touch anywhere)

Yes they're still available, but my not be an ideal choice just to pass an MOT. They're probably more suited to a competition car as they allow for a gearing change with lower RR or fitment of 13" 1B tyres. You can buy a brand new set of 6.5J 15" wheels that are a perfect fit from around £250 (see e...

latest thinking brakes pads

I use yellow stuff. Great for both road and track.

Experience based on GW discs/metro turbo calipers on the Sabre and Wilwood calipers/Mazda 626 discs on the SS1.

1800ti exhaust manifold needed

If there are no cracks allowing leaks to the outside world, I would give it a go. The gasses are coming out of this port and driving the blades of the turbo. So make sure that nothing is left that could become loose, as all it will do is exit to the turbo and destroy fan blades.

Sounds OK to me. Clean it up with a dremmel or die grinder.

Apart from being a glutton for punishment, I decided I wanted the challenge of building myself a competition car from scratch. So bought this one which had been off the road for about 14 years, and set about doing a nut and bolt rebuild with a few go faster bits thrown in. So far so good

Swoakes SS1 DET Sprint Car

Yes. Try putting it straight to earth to see if the pump starts. If it does, you know where to start looking.

If it doesn’t, try changing the relay.
