Ss1 v6!!!?

The shots of a cologne in an SS1 look like one of the pre-production cars (note the modified chevette ARB), could just be someone joking around. Steve, the S2000 engine would be great in an SS1, but its a very tall lump - I suspect you'd have to lean it right over or put a massive bulge in the bonn...

1989 Scimitar TI 1809cc - Guidance Appreciated

All down to condition.

If I was selling one I’d price it as follows:-

Scruffy with MOT £1500 +
Average with MOT £2500-£3500
Above average £3500-£4500
Mint show £4500-£7000

Performance mods can make quite a difference to price too.

Ss1 v6!!!?

If there are more S2000 engines floating about than S2000 cars, finding one a home is the decent thing to do.

Ss1 v6!!!?

I really want to do an S2000 engined SS1. But it’s currently an expensive experiment looking at the price of the engines. 260bhp and 9000rpm, what’s not to like :D

Oh and Corky, you aren't the only one who has had Wolfrace wheels on an SS1, we'll see who's quickest on the draw when that time comes....
Who mentioned Wolfrace? I could’ve been lining up Wellers..... or maybe not

Cruise control

On the Audi they definitely came on. Whilst towing at night you could see them illuminating the car on the trailer.
To be honest, that’s how I discovered that the car was braking for me whilst using cruise control.

I would suggest you go on willtheyfit.com and have a look at how the offset works. It’s a great tool to help get your head around it.

Cruise control

I've always found it to be less economical, but it doesn't stop me using it on some journeys. The problem is that it's trying to maintain the same speed all of the time, so as soon as you get to an incline it adds more throttle. If you were controlling the throttle yourself, you'd probably just take...

SS1 7"X13" 4x100 ML wheels for sale

Steve. You only have yourself to blame that these MLs aren't sold already. I told you not to have them done in gunmetal grey. Eugh. Yeah right   I think the problem is the PCD not the colour. I've had loads enquiries from the Ford boys hoping I'd got it wrong and that they were 108. I'll...
