1C is fine if you're running list 1A tyres and don't want the option to run 1Bs.

Back on the dyno this morning. It was in good company alongside an Escort Cosworth rally car, Healey 3000 rally car and a Mk1 Golf GTi... The only difference to the last run is that it now has the standard cam and I could get the ignition timing slap bang on 15' btdc. It's not the result I was hopin...

I’m moving to 1E.

Looking at the 4 cars in that list they probaly all should  although you stand a better chance of a pot of you stay where you are
True, but you can’t run 1B tyres in Class 1C.

It’s a choice between having this one ground, or finding a vernier pulley to get the most out of the twin spark cam I’ve already had Autosprinterised. Or if anyone out there has a twin spark engine and fancies an Autosprint cam that was ground from a brand new cam, please drop me a PM and you can ha...

Cleaned up with new shells and rings. Just the head to do and then I'll have a usable spare engine.

Just debating whether to send the cam to Autosprint for a re-grind.

SS1 Suspension - considerations

The traders would be your best bet for speed. QRG sell AVO and GW sell Spax. It’ll be IRO £600 with the springs though !

You could save a few quid by going direct to GAZ, but it’s a six week lead time.

It's been on the rollers again today and we've gained a massive 15 BHP, so it's now reaching a whopping 139BHP :cloud: The bizarre thing is that the power and torque under 4000 rpm isn't affected, and it's only a bit down up to 5000 rpm. Then it all goes wrong at around 5250, and flat lines. This is...

Here’s another view.

They were made from a cheap pack of Aldi brackets, bent into shape. If I can find some stronger off cuts of metal I’ll remake them.
