Track Tyres for sale R888 SG soft compound

I've had a change of plan and will now be selling the tyres only.

£200 for all four R888 soft compound 195/50/15. I can probably post them for around £20.

Will fit most 15" wheels found on Scimitars 6.5 - 7.5 J is the recommended width of wheel, but a 6J should be fine.

Red GTC on M40 / M25

Pretty sure that’s no. 66 http://www.scimitarweb.co.uk/~gtcregistrar/for_sale.htm Scroll down and you’ll find the advert (my old website from when I was GTC reg’). Iirc the seller was keeping hold of the plate, so that’ll be why it doesn’t cross reference. [image]http://www.scimitarweb.co.uk/~gtcreg...

Beware the car thieves

I'm with Corky though, if they want the car I want them to take it, without fear of threat or anguish to my family. I disagree. It is because people roll over and give in that these lowlives get away with it. It's that bloody Elf 'n Safe Tea culture that we have, wrapping everyone in cotton wool an...

Beware the car thieves

Main problem was, is and will be, some people steal, some people buy stolen goods knowingly. We can never change that. Even capital punishment did not stop horse thieves in ancient times. Sadly true.... Although, when I visited Qatar a couple of years ago you couldn't move in Doha (the capital city...

Beware the car thieves

He’d just taken delivery of a very nice 7 series BMW. Another neighbour was car jacked in Mcr for his Golf GTi. Section removed by moderator As Geraint says... Crime prevention can be simple and obvious but in the everyday rush of our personal lives we can become complacent. Just try and make your ...

Beware the car thieves

Ah yes, I think I did misread  Physical violence is rare, but the fear of it if you have been broken into isn’t. For some people, this can be a life changing experience unfortunately. We had a neighbour threatened with a fire arm a few years ago. Knock on the door, “give me your car keys !”. H...

Beware the car thieves

Unfortunately Geraint, they are not rare around here. Far too common for my liking. You hear of one every few weeks (break in, search for keys, steal car)=(traumatised family :( ).

The word on the streets of wales

Whilst chatting with a taxi driver in Turkey, he asked me if I spoke any other languages. I said “no not fluently, I can sort of get by in French when on holiday, and have the odd phrase of Spanish”. He said “that’s is bad, the English are not good at speaking other languages”. I agreed and asked hi...

Beware the car thieves

The faraday bags are great, but I do wonder if using one will mean that theives will then feel the need to break into your house when the range extender fails to work.

Admittedly, it could also mean that they simply move onto the next target.
