SS1 Ti brake master reservoir

Most of the 70’s 80’s Lockheed reservoirs share the same spacing for the feed tubes and securing screws, so any that share the same angled fitting should be OK. The only downside is that many don’t have the fluid level sensor in the filler cap or a filler hole wide enough to take one. Some Rover SD1...

SS1 Ti brake master reservoir

I couldn’t find the reservoirs for the ss1 only the SE6A ones. If it helps the part I was trying to find was GMC217R, it fits onto GMC217 which is the TR7 master cylinder assembly. There are a few on eBay.

Ebay Fees, how much ??

True, for a car I only accept Cash or BACS. Absolutely no PayPal, as well as the silly fees it can be reversed in some circumstances.

I just take a DVLA screen printout. Once when I forgot to take anything, I just got the details up in my phone from the DVLA website.

I’ve never been asked for a V5.

Ebay Fees, how much ??

It depends how you sell it. When I've sold cars on eBay I've used the "Classified Ad" format. It allows you to set a price and accept offers. It also allows you to make contact with buyers outside of eBay and cost about £35 last time I used it. Cheaper than using the eBay "Buy it Now" format too. Pe...

underbonnet smoke

The oil feed pipe is a short braided pipe from the side of the block to the top of the turbo core. There is also a rubber drain pipe that runs from under the turbo and into the sump. If it smokes at low idle from the exhaust, then the 1200rpm fix is worth a try. It won't stop smoke coming off the ex...

underbonnet smoke

If it's been standing, it'll probably just be some crud burning off the exhaust manifold. A good run usually sorts it out.

If you take the heat shield off, you'll get a better view just in case it's something a bit more serious, like the oil feed pipe leaking.

Bonnet rubber grommets

RPW are Reliant Parts World. They don’t have any stock of these buffer rubbers despite having them on their website. Which is true of a few other items too. Ask me how I know  But they are a good source for obscure SS1 and Sabre bits. Quite often they don’t have parts listed, but can find stoc...
