I think the jury is still out, but 1st factory galvanised chassis is noted on the register as no.372 with a question mark :? 369 was steel, so if the owners of 370 & 371 could step forward 😀 More seriously, it looks like at least 70 GTC's were factory galvanised. I’d seen the photo years ago, and mentioned it on page one if this thread. It just so happened I stumbled upon it today whilst looking for something else.
Not recognised by dvla website, so probably is a photoshop job.

The diff ratio on the Cologne engined cars is different to the Essex.

A few owners have fitted 6/6A axles over the years though.

If it’s heavier than standard then you’ve not got the pairing of LR master/slave in the link Jim posted above. There are a few LR combos and some are heavier than others when fitted to a Scim.
