Did this ever get made?

Not seen photos of the Target before, but I really like it. The body design takes your eye away from the awkward rake of the windscreen that spoils the visual balance of the Sabre/SST.

It’s the Autosprint one I had done last year. I took it out of the engine I was building and fitted it to the one in the car a few weeks ago.

Still got a standard one here that I’d like to get done as well so I can finish the engine.

Sa2010 can be HANS ready. Drilled but without the threaded inserts.

If yours has the threaded inserts, you can just buy a set of clips and screw them in.

I think the inserts require a setting tool, like a rivnut.

........and yes, it does seem like it’s just a matter of time before they’re mandated.

Wise move Phil.

Most helmets are SA2015 nowadays, and that standard requires the HANS threaded inserts. The clips can always be bought at a later date.

Nothing much done to the car, but I have been collecting bits and pieces. Mainly service items like shock proof gb oil, mobil one motorsport oil, oil filter etc. Once fitted I'll book a slot with the rolling road for a bit of a tune up session to get the most out of the engine to suit the CM regs. M...

I didn’t fit it myself, but helped my usual windscreen guy. The tabs are left up so I can get to them. The plan is that they’ll be fed down through the dash when I get around to wiring it up. I’m not too bothered at the moment, I just needed to replace the damaged screen that was in and put the new ...

1800ti cambelt tracking

The correct tightness allows the belt to be twisted 90 degrees by hand. That's the rule I always use and have changed plenty of them.

The belt will not fall off, as it's kept in line by the bowl shaped washers/guides either side of the crank gear.

Heated screen fitted today. It’s a relief to get it off the garage floor and onto the car.

Highly recommend the fella in Middlewich that Steve Oakes knows. I’ll be taking mine there in the next few weeks.
