C3 automatic box query

You need a fitting bell housing. C3 bolt patern is old style UK Ford.
GTCs and se6bs do have the C3 connected to a 2.8.

I do have a used C3 box suitable for a 2.8 available.

Chris, just my ideas - Car runs decent when cold, rubbish when hot. So I guess you can rule out any valve related issues as the major cause. Getting hot very quicly is hinting a lot of heat is produced or no heat can be cooled. No cooling issues, so it must be the heating up What can cause this sort...

I feel your pain, after 10 years of scimitar ownership I am still amazed at the poor quality/ fit/ longevity of many of the parts supplied. Though not what you'd like to see, it is way better than unavailable at all. Another issue is 'you get what you pay for'. As for the mirror pads, twenty pounds...
