Using van winter tyres on a Scimitar?

Don't use Van type tyres an a motorcar. Not up for the job. Do buy a proper winter tyre. If you can't find them in the UK, plan a stop on the continent to get the tyres changed. For what it worth, IMHO m+s tyres are not required in Germany for non-German reg cars. Only a fierce recommendation. When ...

And there's more. I have found half the identity of the gold car in Switzerland. The one that was NOT Ken Tape's. Wipers park on the right so probably an original LHD. Is there a swiss registration check site as in Holland? If so, there are not very many possible prefixes before the number ... ?? 3...

Well, well, amazing what you find when you're looking for something else.
THIS is apparently a Rooster Turbo !!!
Seen here at Morges 2013, photo by Akela NDE.
On the list but still don't know the chassis number though :(
A LHD car! One of the about 10 built? Or a conversion?

New member from The Netherlands

Welkom Harold!

I think it could be that 'Belgian' car.
It is an earlier se6a, with the ribbed front bumper.

Registering a se6a or se6b in Italy

I've seen the light blue 6b, but it is not clear about registration. Most likely it was never registered in Italy. Same goes for the green se6a, as far as I can see from this older thread. Alas the advert links are no longer valid.

Sold in 2010 didn’t it?

Edit - here
Update on the 'Strange Nose' car: It was a bodged up mod. No prototype. Taken apart for parts by Geert van Hout, as confirmed by Geert to me.

I wonder if Reliant sold it with the 'development' nose or a normal one.
That photo doesn't look like it dates from the sixties?
Photo taken around 2010/2011. Perhaps even by me :D or the seller. This is in Enschede, the Netherlands. It should have been sold inside NL.

Beware the car thieves

Main problem was, is and will be, some people steal, some people buy stolen goods knowingly.
We can never change that. Even capital punishment did not stop horse thieves in ancient times.

0422 JKG 541E P Ridgarde, Spondon, Derby, exported, re-registered LV-90-KR
Currrent Dutch RDW (DVLA eq.) data, see picture
No APK (MOT eq) for a long time as no data available. Last owner registation in 2014 so probably still around as a project.

I'd be happy to put on a car or regalia up for the museum.
