Thanks Terry, Peter and BusaPhil didn't think about bending the lugs to tighten it up, will keep that under my hat for now.
While I was waiting for replacements caps, I thought I would clean up.

Ok its cooled down and does not syphon the coolent back into system, may be because incorrect pressure cap or Catchment tank tube not long enough , but some coolent would have been syphoned even just to level of pipe , so I think better contact QRG for replacement Pressure Cap IMG_0632.JPG IMG_0631....

The inlet pipe to the catchment tank does go down in the tank ,but don't know how far, as my fingers aren't long enough

Hi Terry Just been for a spin again , this time put old pressure cap on housing with extra gasket, and blanking cap on catchment tank as per 6 system, no Leaks from housing and catchment tank filled up via expansion and now dribbling out , waiting to see when it coolers down if it syphons the coolen...

Thanks for the quick replies When I got the car it had blanking cap on housing with extra gasket and pressure cap on expansion tank.
