Another use for solder

I use this all the time for checking the squish on cylinder heads and anything you can't get a feeler gauge into, cheap and accurate.

Sorry to hear that Mark, I'm worried I'll never finish this one. I do have a couple of bikes to sell as well for the same reason, plus the new congestion charge rubbish.

I always crimp then just solder the bit before the connector, having been caught out by crimps vibrating loose before, I guess nothings perfect.

Thanks Jim, I like the Malpassi with the gauge on the top, that could be the one. Now to figure out a way of mounting it to the O-ring hole in the injector rail.

I like the LPG idea, I might go for the same ECU, just in case. The bracket mount made me think of these two blokes.

In a change of plan specialized engines came up with what I asked them for in the first place, very pricey, but it came with a manifold I already had.... I would say, unless it's painting the chassis, you can do everything with the body on 4" blocks at the mounting points ( 2 at the front, 2 at the back and something in the middle if you want to open the doors) you will need the bumpers off for this so you might as well lift the whole lot off. Thanks Mikey, I thought it was just me, I wan't their system but get no response, I'll give it another month then go else ware. It's a shame since I would be spending decent money with them. One email a day till then.
