Will's GTC disasters

On a separate note I need a clutch activating fork and as I've never had one, I don't know it looks like. The gearbox is a 4 speed with OD and it's going on a ford 2.9, anyone know what I'm looking for?

Been a while but here's an update, the chassis is now all welded up, hot zinc sprayed, painted with Black epoxy mastic and sprayed inside and out with a wax-oil thing, the patio will never recover. When the chassis came back from being zinc sprayed there were a couple of holes in top of the rear sho...

2.9 camshaft sprocket retaining bolt

Hi All
Has anyone got a spare Ford 2.9 cologne camshaft sprocket retaining bolt or cam bolt, my torques key shattered as I was tightening it and took out the edges.
Beer tokens for anyone with one.
All the very best

Replacing Mechanical Fan.

I agree, he is bloody annoying, for anyone who can't stand him skip to 15mins, it's all you need to know. They do do a good one on cams though, race cams not worth the loss of bottom end unless your racing, even then it's debatable and I'm a biker, I love peaky engines.

Buy a new one, and don't worry. Sell the others to people who want to worry. Make back the cost of a new one.

A guage tells you when its going, a light just tells you its gone, a programmable buzzer/siren as well, may be useful.

That's the first time my welding's been called nice, I think the photo makes it look better than it is. I've a few holes to drill here and there for drainage / oiling.

Thanks Mark, for taking the time to measure and post, also for the offer of making seat rails, but If Nigel doesn't deliver I can make them out of 2" box. I went with 75mm across the top in the end as it makes a more substantial gusset. The usual amount of grinding to be done, but I'm confident abou...

Will's GTC disasters

Thanks gtcse8, pics and measurements would be great. I removed mine and tigged on 6mm x 50 angle iron, then found the tops of the outriggers were rotten, hence why I don't have a ref for them. By seat rails yes the mounting for the front 2 seat bolts, that is just about tacked on to the chassis and ...
