Replacing Mechanical Fan.

I agree, he is bloody annoying, for anyone who can't stand him skip to 15mins, it's all you need to know. They do do a good one on cams though, race cams not worth the loss of bottom end unless your racing, even then it's debatable and I'm a biker, I love peaky engines.

SE6A Radiator

Buy a new one, and don't worry. Sell the others to people who want to worry. Make back the cost of a new one.

Roll bar

Mole grips and lefty righty, wd40. when they round grind a chunk off. All chassis bolts came out / snapped this way, unlike the devils water pump.

Oil pressure fitting

A guage tells you when its going, a light just tells you its gone, a programmable buzzer/siren as well, may be useful.

Will's GTC disasters

That's the first time my welding's been called nice, I think the photo makes it look better than it is. I've a few holes to drill here and there for drainage / oiling.

Will's GTC disasters

Thanks Mark, for taking the time to measure and post, also for the offer of making seat rails, but If Nigel doesn't deliver I can make them out of 2" box. I went with 75mm across the top in the end as it makes a more substantial gusset. The usual amount of grinding to be done, but I'm confident abou...

Will's GTC disasters

Thanks gtcse8, pics and measurements would be great. I removed mine and tigged on 6mm x 50 angle iron, then found the tops of the outriggers were rotten, hence why I don't have a ref for them. By seat rails yes the mounting for the front 2 seat bolts, that is just about tacked on to the chassis and ...

Will's GTC disasters

Thanks for the chassis offer gtcse8, I might have taken you up on it last Autumn, but mines not bad now, have you got the seat rails in stock? If Nigel doesn't come through. I just wanted to know the top and bottom widths. I'm guessing 3" across the top and 1/2 to 1" at the bottom, I was planning on...

I have one good one and a full set of new valves, if you can't get a set. The other head had a crack in it.

Will's GTC disasters

Hi All I've had a bit of a break from the GTC for a while, doing house stuff etc, but now I'm back on it. All the rotten chassis parts have been replaced, bar the front seat rails (waiting for Nigel from QRG to have some made up). I wouldn't say my welding has improved, but my grinding's certainly g...
