When I did mine last year I had to use compressors to get the springs back in, even then it was a fiddle. When you say bind them, what do you use? If you could compress them tie them up safely and take off the compressors it would definitely be an easier job. Just cut the binding once all in place. ...

Parked it facing down the drive and clamped it off for now. I will take the boot liner out maybe tomorrow and get cracking on a fix. Just done the tap test on my can of beer, it's empty must get another!! :D
