very interested to see how the speeduino goes for you! I'm running a megasquirt in my ti and loving it, but leaning towards speeduino for my next project...

I know I know, I've let it go far too quiet again - holidays are when this thread should be busy! Rest assured there's plenty to come, though life sadly sidetracked me into rebuilding another Rover K-Series head (don't ask) so work on the little scim has been slow... But it has been happening! The c...

A happier update now - all of the suspect hoses that looked at all flakey have now been replaced, and the car is running as sweetly as ever. Must now decide whether I can stomach paying a month's worth of tax for just a week, or tax it from Aug 1st, decisions decisions....

thanks for all the advice guys - dragged myself away from commitments to take out the boot lining and inspect where the car had been leaking (it happened while i was away so the local garage temporarily plugged it for me). Turns out it was the joint from the nylon hose to the return on the sender, a...

A sad - but determined, update this time. Plans of shooting home, paying the tax and hopping into the scim were sadly dashed by a fuel leak that began while parked up in the garage... None of the fuel pipes are visibly bad but after the second fuel leak in less than a year I've lost confidence in th...

Thanks guys Main thing this means is i can whizz home (I only live just over an hour from my uni) to swap to the scim to fire around in for the last couple of weeks in the summer, gives me a chance to show off  (or, more likely, the car to break down in front of all my automobile club mates aga...

And that's a wrap for now! New links installed and a thumbs up from the MOT tester gives me another year of top-down fun! No advisories either  I'm back off to uni this weekend sadly so it's back to the garage for the scim, but come June it'll be back on the road - and when I find time in the...

Thanks guys - new bits arrived today so car should be good to go ASAP (excellent service from QRG!) Copper slip over everything (bushes and all?) or just metal bits? Was planning on a quick mist of wax seal over the mating bits of suspension too - at some point in the reasonably near future I'll hav...

Ah - you’ve written it down - there’s no “a” An extra one I'd forgotten, double points for that. Missing question though my girlfriend (it's her work) assures me there's definitely no errors in the equations   Suppose I maybe wasn't clear enough about which washer was the one I'd dr...

Wehey - one side was a nightmare - cracked off easily enough but not wanting to waste time jacking the car etc access was a struggle to pull a nut over the rusty thread on the bad one, the other side was barely over finger tight and just wound off! Good side is really not too bad, but I've got 2 new...

Yes have bought full links - I think the better side should come undone okay but very unconvinced the failed side will, so it may want some love from a hacksaw..! Will give them a good soak in plusgas overnight and be hopeful, most stuff on this car has come undone okay (except the dratted alternato...
