I think there will be corrisponding wear on the cam gear, both should be hardned, better have a look down the hole, other thing to check will be the oil pump drive, is that worn in the btm of that dissy, and I take it that the dissy turns free as well, would have taken a bit of load to cause that we...

Easily get 100l LPG tank in boot area, there are loads of different sizes / capacities. Only problem would be suitable mountings, they would have to be into the chassis. Other than that, corretly fitted, there would be no problems, other than loss of boot space.

if its a manual, stick it in 4th gear, make sure theres room behind, then push it backwards when required to turn the engine.

Which ever cylinder the rotor arm points to, adjust that one. If you refit a distributor, the direction the rotor arm points is totally irrelevant - you just move the leads around to get the correct plug firing at the correct time. So it can’t be used as an indication of which tappet to adjust. Who...
