Morning all,So I,ve got a SE6A with Ford C3 auto box,I,m having issues getting the brake servo working I believe its related to the fitting on the inlet manifold where the brakes servo pipe,s fitted to it has a small pipe coming out of the top to the vacuum diaphragm,is this the correct fitting for ...

Hi there,if anyones interested I found a company a couple of weeks ago that recondition brake servos its due back tomorrow thought I,d wait to see if its any good before I name names but it sounds like its going to be like new

so this se6a of mine is automatic,its listed on vehicle registration document has manual I,ve even got a list of previous owners and its listed has manual first impressions moving the car around the gearbox may give trouble so I,m contemplating it would be more usefull and possibly no more expensive...

Morning all,a problem as arisen with my drivers seat recliner mechanism is there much I can do without dismantling the seat the lever on the side of the seat does,nt do anything,are these seats easy to remove thanks in advance

Just been reading these posts regarding Auto box,I,ve just got my car running after a long lay up a couple of questions it seems a little slow to take up drive and also the dipsticks on my car (se6a 1980)are yellow I,m thinking about changing the fluid so am concerned about different specs.

yes I,m thinking get them off somehow then put ordinary nuts on for the time being this particular socket has questionable parentage I have to say hope the neighbours did,nt hear me

So the next thing I need to know the bumpers did,nt look too bad but on closer inspection the shiney bits are all discoloured they,re obviously covered in some kind of plastic coating can this be removed so they can be cleaned up and maybe re lacquered is there anyone reconditioning these bumpers.th...

The engine does turn fine by hand,I,ve removed all the plugs squirted wd40 and redex down all the cylinders left it a day then drained oil off and refilled when I get the starter to work I intend to spin it minus the plugs to get the oil pressure up before I try to start it,appreciate all the helpfu...
