POWER STEERING

Ron your rack refurb will go ahead, just been very busy with personal stuff. I have enough components for Five Complete rebuilds, or possibly Ten partial, all depends upon what the rack requires to bring it up to standard. I have a lot of stock invested in these rebuilds and I can`t keep paying ful...

POWER STEERING

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, due to the closure of the UK`s largest parts supplier, I will not be reconditioning PAS racks in the future. I have tried to stock up on the parts that are needed but the supply has now ceased. Unless I can find another source of the consu...

Castrol GTX

Hi Dennis I’ve tried tonight to locate the website and find options for purchase. However, I appear to be going around in circles. Checked out eBay and end up with probiotic tablets. Are you saying I order it and have it delivered to me or alternatively you order it and send it on. Also I’m surprise...

an ordinary retired old crock RSSOC member Same as me then!! :( Basic questions - what quantity is needed for each oil change? I have two old cars so double the quantity, and assuming I buy enough for 3 years, that's six lots. How do you raise sufficient interest to make a bulk purchase, but then t...

Dumb question - Spare wheel support plates...And stuff

I have a drawing of the front nose plate (I made my own a few months ago and had it welded by a local chap) Hi Will Is there any possibility of you sending me a copy of your drawing as I will be having some (3) made in stainless steel? The laser profiling, bending and welding will be carried out by...

GTC 404 MOT electric advice needed

Update.
Last night I switched everything on to fully test the whole lights and indicator sequence again. Every single thing working as it should. I've not touched a thing.
So right now I can't trace the fault.

Still no MOT date booked for 404😖 Update. Wipers now working. Found to be over tightening of one wiper wheel box nut by the enthusiastically helpful paint shop. On the plus side I have an original Lucas wiper motor 16w etc. Returned the one I bought locally (from H Bowers a14w something) as my tooth...

What is the inside and outside diameter of the washer?
Also what is the thread spec of the nut or stub axle?

Flying bonnet

Hi All, Failed my MOT today (1980 GTC auto) - lower front trunnion wishbone bushes (looks like an easy fit), tyres (inward bulges, date-marked 2004, and one rear rubbing on inner wing (turns out previous owbpner has squeezed 205s onto rims intended for 195s!) and a bonnet catch that keeps releasing...
