Yes - I have noticed the movement when clamping the Dizzy - marked a line to ensure no movement. The strobe shows the timing mark advancing & retarding as I alter the revs. It still cuts out on idling. I am tempted to alter the the idle screws to try establish the idle as the dizzy seems to be worki...

Cleaned it all and retested the fixed dizzy but it remained at 600 & 30* and on revving higher it disappeared beyond 60*...

I have had my Coupe for 4 years and have spent that time tinkering with the body & exhaust , with only an oil & filter change to the engine. I have only recently started to drive it and expected the triple 42s to give a high rev punch. But the main issues are : over heating - excessive fuel consumpt...

Coupe ARB upgrade

Read a book on triple 42's weber's and spent all week end with an air flow meter and a unstable tacho. But its now drivable , although the throttle jammed open due to a bent pedal and engine got very hot due to a restrictive front grill. The tacho is still intermittent and the next test dive will be...

Before I start will the internals of a 4HA with a LSD fit inside a 7HA.

If not can a LSD be obtained that will fit in a 7HA and how much will it cost.

or is a axle swop the only option to a 7HA from a 5a .into the coupe.

I would like to echo my thanks.
It was a good example of sincere honest enthusiasts.
And as my wife said " have you noticed that the scimitar drivers smile & laugh others don't "
Regards
steve - now with half coupe exhaust fitted this afternoon , it only took a year to fit.
