BP petrol pump nozzle

Has anyone had a problem with BP petrol pump nozzles that won't go far enough into the fuel filler on a GTC/GTE? They have the rim that locks into the modern sealed unleaded filler's on newer cars to prevent the escape of fumes. The BP version, as opposed to all other petrol stations won't allow the...

GTC exterior weatherstrip

Yes, I have done this.Graham Walkers supplied the proper seals.
Neither of those pictured are the same as the original. They may work but the proper component isn't that expensive.

Red GTC on M40 / M25

Hi Trevor,
I was playing at Span Jazz, Plas Hyfryd.
We didn't play Dazed & Confused but I wonder if there's scope for a jazz arrangement!

Red GTC on M40 / M25

Yep, M25 on route to a gig that evening in Narbeth, S. Wales. That was a trek! However, outside the Slug & Lettuce in Hanover Street, W1 has me puzzled. Clearly I would not have left it on a dble yellow in C. London, I know better than that! What was the date? Was Regent Street Festival on that day?...

LED headlights?

LEDs on my GTC. Vastly improved the dim stop/tail. H/lights effective but need to be carefully adjusted. you've seen badly adjusted headlights, LEDs are particularly bright but all around they reduce the power drain considerably. Technically, they are illegal, I believe this is due to them being bel...

LEDs - GTC

I have replaced my side lights and h/lights with LEDs. The most noticeable differences are : A big improvement on the tail/brake light. Always rather dull on Scimitars. Reverse light brighter. Instant response : Turning on and main beam flash is startlingly immediate. Lower power drain. As effective...

LED headlights?

I've just fitted 2 sided to the dip and main beams. I'm still adjusting them. I found the pattern to be reversed on one side compared to the other. There was no way of identifying this on installation but it was clear they were not the same. One side was certainly far too high and the pattern was up...

and will see whether my friendly tester comments. *Provided* that the coverage pattern meets the requirements specified in the MOT manual, I think it's probably unlikely your tester will comment, bearing in mind that the MOT test is not a test of overall legality, it's only a test of conformity wit...

London T-Charge

I'm not convinced that replacing every vehicle on the world's roads with electric power is really a solution. I believe electric vehicles use a large amount of power to charge their unenvironmental batteries. You know how the story goes about the nation watching the world cup. During half time, ther...

Ultra Low Emission Zone

merged with previous discussion Hi, Since the announcement of the soon to be implemented expansion of the zone to the North and South Circular, I've been trying to get clarification from TFL as their website seems to hold conflicting information. Below is a reply I received today which does corresp...

breakdown Recovery AA vs RAC or who?

After decades with the RAC, I had a couple of very bad experiences with them. Too much to go into in detail but the row I had with the pick up truck they sent was awful. They wait was 4 hours, the driver was obnoxious and the RAC did nothing to resolve the issue, instead they just offered me 3 months...

Fitting an Italvolanti steering wheel to a Reliant

The stalks weren't a problem, I seem to remember the indicator cancellation needed some adaptation.
The other issue is the wheel is nearer the overdrive switch, I often catch it with my knuckles.

Been to look at this GTC YLV510W

The K&N filter is a give away, not fuel injection.
