The Racy Red Bakery Truck.

What I should have done!!!!!!!!! Back in August it "swallowed" a screw from the carb insulator. I thought it had travelled right through to the exhaust but all the time the little bleeder had lodged in the inlet manifold out of sight and beyond my magnet prodding tool. Well that's what I felt like (...

The Racy Red Bakery Truck.

It has lately developed an exhaust blow so did a mahoosive shunt to get it on the lift, took both middle boxes off as they had damage from street obstructions, new ones fitted which lessened the blow but it's either coming from the off side tubular headers welded joint or the cyl. head gaskets, so a...

Does Run Fast 351 Eventually!

Started on the overhauling of removed components, prop shaft, door hinges, servo and door hinges dismantled, cleaned, primed, painted and assembled. I used new u/js fitted with grease nipples. The clutch and brake m/cs are done, loads more sanding done on the body, bonnet and boot. To break the mono...

Tyre sizes for SE4 Wire Wheels.

Scimba - Just add fuel

If you've tapped it with a drift then it should be ok, it's only got to seal against a head of about a couple of feet allowing for an extreme vehicle stop with a full tank.

Hydraulic transmission Jack

Hi you two, I've the same lift and tranny jack so it should be right. The foot pump is great cause it leaves both hands free for wiggling!
I'm going to weld up a better cradle to provide a firmer grip on the uneven gearbox bottom but careful wood packing does for now. It's a good buy!

A bit of a let down!

They drove along peritracks to their work site dropping scores of screws out from their rear door gaps! Seven main and nose wheels had to be changed causing a loss of a c...

Coupe brakes binding

Hi John, had the same on my newly-bought coupe. It was a sticking servo, keeping the brakes rubbing sometimes enough to severely impede progress. I found by accident that tapping the brake pedal released the servo fully. However, 'twas only a "get home fix" and annoyed the heck out of the drivers fo...
