Two rods finished and with new bushes fitted, were attached to the g/box so that part of the transmission is done. The box was craned off the bench on to a pallet and the engine block put on instead. Exhaust manifold fittings

I used hex-headed s/s bolts and s/s spring washers, previously mild steel washers but they corroded away allowing the manifolds to blow!

I think they're 5/16" unc x 1", I'll check tomorrow.

Made a new gasket, bolted the bell-housing back on and assembled the clutch operating arm. The semi-circular pivot thing was bent, not allowing the arm to swivel properly so was "adjusted" and it operates OK now without touching the release bearing through out the range of movement.
