Hi Al. Having jacked up and wheel removed, I remove the oil filter for access, then the starter comes out easier, the top bolt is a pita but can be got out with extensions on yer ratchet, I think it's 1/2" AF, same as bottom bolt. This is why I don't like them without grease nipples.
That's the gearbox end and its ripped the g/box mount to bits, t'other end seems smooth as a Zephurs f@rt but I'll do both ends.

Lots more stripping out done, radiator removed with fan bars, wiring looms removed along with relays, busbars etc, the most difficult removal was the front bumper brackets with no access to the bolt heads. If only Reliant had put the captive nuts on the brackets instead of the chassis, it would have...

So the low oil pressure was the blasted filter, got a proper one from QRG and that's sorted. Advice to self-don't use Halfords!
