Finally done arcing an' sparkin', applied for the Assistant England Welding and Grinding Managers job, they said I was burned out!

Rear legs and associated brackets all welded on, primed undercoated and topped. Yet again I'm waitin' fer paint t' dry!

Harewood 2 June 2019

Yes, seems the back end is too hard. Brilliant performances from all the Scim drivers though. I must say I'm a little surprised at the points awarded, I'm drivin' the wheels orf my car, PB after three years out of sprinting and yet the heritage cars are still miles off the small sports. I'm not goin...

The Racy Red Bakery Truck.

Bleddy nora, this car is ace! Levels checked, race stuff loaded an' oop norf t' daughters fer the Harewood round of the championship. It's been my favourite track since 2006 when I started this adrenaline boostin' pastime. It was fairly dry with just the occasional short shower but, despite numerous...

Essex Timing gear

I'd advise defo not to fit anything other than alloy or steel. The Essex is an "interference" engine, if the cam stops working the pistons do hit the valves which is why Ford modified the cam driven gear three times to try and extend the life of it.

Flying bonnet

There's a little "widget" on the end of the outer cable underneath the catch panel in the engine bay. It fits in a slotted bracket to provide its positive stop. My had half popped out and the bonnet opened to the safety catch at 90 on Ty Croes!
Here's hoping that's all that's amiss.
