Still waiting for my V5 for a car I purchased from a dealer in May from the DVLA :( :( I have a photocopy of an old one from the previous owner though. :?

Low Oil Pressure Se6a

I used a MANN filter on my last oil change from my local motor factor , he would have changed it if I was not happy as he sang the praises of the filters , I photographed my temp, revs and oil pressure before the change and after in case I did need to take it back , but all was good :D

Hi , I am thinking of moving from my 6a manual to a GTC , my preference is for a GTC manual , are they more rare , were there more auto's built , or do more auto's survive now ? Thanks :) :)

Hi Barrie, there is a classic car show on at Durham Tees Valley airport Sunday 7th April The Classic and Retro Show 2019 and I know of one Scimitar 6a will be there ...me :D so if you want to see a useable but not a show winner car come and have a natter :D

Hi I have timed my 6a with a stroboscope , is there a way of checking with the strobe the vacuum advance retard and the bob weight advance retard . My 6a chassis number ends in 3499 but registered in May 19 1978, so am I right in saying it was manufactured in 1977 so can I claim my free road tax at the post office ? :D

I have just fitted seats out of a TVR Chimera to my 6a , there are probably cheaper seats out there but I was given an offer I could not refuse :)

Update!! a friend was fitting some Mx5 seats to his TVR Chimera so I buzzed around his house to try the Mx5, seats sit me even higher than standard seats, but tried his TVR seats and decided they would fit and I sit lower, deal done and now in the process of fitting them , drivers seat in but rain s...

I took four full size doors to the tip, decided I had hoarded them long enough and decided they would not come in handy at all :) Bit of exhaust fume in the cabin but all windows and sun roof open and I was ok :)
