The Rh looks like a front due to the visible part of the damper at the bottom which is usually required to clear the wishbones

Front shocks on rear

The wider axle will mean that the shock length will change
As standard the shocks sit at an angle and the wider axle increases this angle a little
By all means fit the GTE shocks but don’t make the spring rates too high or the car will be nasty at speed in a corner

Low oil = lack of oil supply to hydraulic lifters = noise ..... or the cam is dry

Ask yourself, no disrespect but do you have the skill set and facilities to make this work.

With planning and money anything is possible but always consider the end result, which in this case , is likely to be a classic car that will be very difficult to sell

Jeff's pictures show a hole with the boot lock removed. However this is something you cant do. Option 1 - make a large hole in the boot floor and release the lever per my picture Boot lock 1.jpg OR Option 2 - drill a hole per the blue car and poke the lever but you end up applying paint Boot lock 2....
