Thank you for a good idea . I'm looking to unplug the nissan aerial plug ( not DIN or Fakra ) and plug in a joining cable between the car loom and the radio . This way the car retains it's original radio functionality. From the lead I would like to take a spur that terminates in a SMA male connectio...

Yeah, see my original post...

However, he did miraculously just call me back!

Turns out he forgot to include the bespoke oil cap in the packaging, so is posting it on Monday. Awesome!

The problem inherently lies with the path of the exhaust gasses .
From my limited reading , you either absorb noise or make the gases take a winding route .
The GTE design is a mix of both , where as the V6 Coupe gasses have a straight run with little in the way to get rid of any noise

There was a system that used to be supplied for the Coupe that had a different exhaust note dependant upon the direction that the silencers were fitted. Note sure how much truth there was in that though. The Coupe is a sports car - enjoy the noise.... or fit additional rear silencer as I suggested. ...
