Evening all,

Front Shocks Se6a

Hi Matt -

I've got a pair of the standard blue Monroe ones - they look tidy, and worked ok (I just wanted shiny new ones after I rebuilt the suspension).

They will need a set of bushes though, and they're at the back of the shed, so I'd have to have a look after work.

Cheers,

Mike.

Thanks for all the enquiries - I've updated the list with what's provisionally sold. I think I'm up to date with replying to everyone - let me know if you're waiting for a reply from me.

I'm sorting out packaging, and i'll get back to everyone with postage costs as soon as i can.

Cheers :D

Poly Bushes

No worries, I didn't remove the half shafts, I put a hole in the jig for them to poke through - but yeah, all the brakes, hubs etc had to come off to get to the 4 holes on the flange.

Cheers,

Mike.

Poly Bushes

I did the axle brackets some years ago on my 6a, and documented it here... http://scimitarweb.co.uk/sgwrs/viewtopic.php?t=3569&start=30 Looking at it, the pics only show one length of all thread being used, but there were two - one for each hole. I'm not sure what happened now, it was 11 years ago :...

Look what came in the post today

shiny :D (pic of gauges) Very nice Geraint - if you search for 'Lucas 6WL' you can also get the warning cluster with a chrome bezel. I bought one for a tenner or so, just for the chrome, but used my own cluster. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-Lucas-6WL-Dashboard-Combination-Warning-Light-Unit-T...
