Perhaps if Reliant had wired like this you would find it easier - it does not matter with a filament bulb which way the voltage is applied.

The delay output is he red/blue wire and only the roof lamp is on that circuit - the door puddle lights only light when the door is open - the door being opened also triggers he delay unit for the roof light. The roof light can also be put on with the overhead switch which also operates the map read...

No point in adding all the earth's for the lights - if you cannot work out that they need earths as well then the drawing will be no use to you anyway - no black jumper lead on my drawing. Roger is right the delay unit is overhead.

Fuse boxes will be available from classic suppliers - not sure about the long fuse box but he four way are certainly available as I replaced the one in my MB and fitted two in the Coupe - 4 fuses were never enough for the Coupe. Tried knife fuses in it first but they were rubbish. Never was fond of ...

I prefer he older glass fuses - they have after all lasted a long time - the blade ones are relatively young but I have a collection of failed ones - they melt quite easily and you cannot get slow blow ones as far as I am aware. Reliant did not do the glass ones any favours by the way they wired them.

gerry's 5A sold

No idea how much he got for it - a earlier " gentleman" wanted him to drive it down to the south coast and if he liked it he said he would buy it - needless to say Gerry was not impressed with the "offer". Shame its left the NE but we expected that really as the money is not here.

gerry's 5A sold

Some time ago I put Gerry's 73 5A in the for sale section - it has now been sold and is on its way to Kent. If you think you have the best 5A in Kent you have some serious opposition coming - now in the hands of its second owner.

Carb service.

Check that the fuel input pipe is pinned into the carb - the pipe coming out is the cause of many a Scim or other weber carb'd cars catching fire
