Sabre 2 in Netherlands

Bart Gordjin has been in touch with me. He has bought a Sabre 2 from Belgium and needs to register it in the Netherlands where he lives. I've copied and pasted his query concerning the engine number on his car. I've been through the register and could find no information on this particular issue. Do...

Hi Scimmy Mike. I'll be there on both Saturday and Sunday and will be more than willing to do my bit on the gate. See you there.

More smoke

Interesting. I use Millers fully synthetic 5 - 30 oil in my 1800Ti. The idle speed varies somewhat between 850 - 1000 rpm depending on what electrickery is switched on and I've never experienced any smoke. Many years ago I had a W registered Saab 9 3 turbo which had only light use before I acquired ...

B reg SS1 for spares - North Scotland

Hi Will

B371 VST is not on the register. If you are able to obtain them, I would very much appreciate the VIN, engine number and date of first registration, please.

Kind regards

Mike

Your car looks like a remarkably good buy considering the price. It's already on the register but may I update the records to include its new owner please?

Cheers Mike.

petrol!

Your aftermarket fuel cap looks good. What I found interesting is that whenever I 'brim' my tank it seldom goes much above three quarters full! Is this a fault of the breed?

1800ti For Sale

Jim's right on both counts! Although I do have an image of it taken when it had recently been snowing, the car does not appear on the Register. I would very much appreciate the VIN, engine number and date of first registration please. Good luck with your sale, it looks an amazing car. Cheers, Mike

1800 Ti fuel consumption

Between 20 and 40 is a cracking response. Although my Sabre is not my daily driver, it does get good long runs when I take it out. I generally get in the mid thirties with 38 and possibly more occasionally. The acceleration is addictive however and I'm sure I could achieve more if practised some res...

I don't want to put a damper on things but, in my experience if things are cheap, they're cheap for a reason! Let us know how you get on.

Yes please, details to me at the email address shown. Congratulations on you choice of car, it photographs well and with your improvements should provide miles of fun. Well, I'd be inclined to use and enjoy it over the summer, explore its potential and then plan a future for it!
