Bond Equipe GT4S.

just to finish off this thread. A friend of mine was looking for a replacement rear floor for his Bond Equipe. He found an eBay add for a rear body tub for an Equipe. On arrival at the vehicle dismantlers he found a white Equipe 4S with a burnt out dash ant transmission tunnel. The rest of the car w...

Essex idler pulley bearing

Thanks for the reply. I need to source one before I remove the timing cover. I cant find them on ebay. Perhaps I'm not describing it correctly. "Ford Essex idler bearing", "Ford Essex fan bearing" shows two that look the same but are listed for the 2.5 diesel. If that is an essex based diesel great ...

Essex idler pulley bearing

Hi everyone. My Essex engine in my SE6A has a noisy idler pulley. I'm having trouble removing the pulley bearing. I've removed the wire clip thingy and soaked the hole it was in with plus gas. Still no luck. Is this bearing an interference fit or should it just slide out. This may be a waste of time...

Forgetfullness

Hi Mike.
Have you kept your fluid intake up (Not Alcohol). I've noticed a deffinite improvement in my short term memory since I started drinking at least three pints a day of juice/squash/water etc.

Good luck,

What cars did you see today? (Non-Scimitar)

You are probably correct. Memory was never my strong point.
I would guess that its been finished by now, to match the trailer. Its a nice useful combination.

I saw this at the Chipping Steam Fair in 2015. It has a Perkins (I think he said) diesel engine in it.
I nicely done conversion. He said he couldn't afford the repairs to the original engine,

Scimitar 4x4 Prototype to be Auctioned

The owners of all the surviving FF prototypes will be looking for spares for their cars. That will drive the price up. Would be a shame if it was broken.

V6 headers

I had to look twice at these headers.

I assume they are for a 2.8 with modified exhaust ports.
I wonder how much difference they would make to the performance.

TRANSIT, ESSEX V6 2.5LTR. INLET MANIFOLD

Hi ,
As above "D" port type. I need one to experiment with for an LPG conversion.
I have seen them on eBay but don't want to pay that sort of money for an experiment.
Could swop for a standard weber manifold.
