At some stage you have just got to turn the key. I had 4 goes on my Zetec camper. The first three not much happened. but I was caught out when it started and then idled.

Wear a hard had as you will be leaping around the garage and the roof will be lower than you think!!!

Your engine mounts look much higher than mine which may be why the headers are in the way. Mine is a SE5 chassis as well.

Mike From memory the diff angle is 1.8deg pointing upwards when the car is at the standard ride height. I measured this by downloading an app for my iphone. I posted pictures of it on my thread. your engine looks slightly higher than mine but I think my sump is 1/2 inch lower than the chassis rail. ...

why not make your own. You can buy all the part in stainless and then just make them up in any length. They are not as difficult as they first look.

Mikey Scimjim is correct you need a high pressure pump. I have got a suitable pump lying about my garage that it used to get my Zetec engine running on a cradle out of the car. I take my hat off to you Phil for fitting the water pipe with the original set and engine in the car. I dropped the o ring several times with no body shell on the chassis!

I should be around tomorrow.

Interesting thought on cooking engine mounts. It had not considered that. Perhaps a simple heat shield is required.
