6b ebay

Or it sold in a deal off e-bay but a 'listing error' means it can be removed without ebay charging fees perhaps?

Re: GTE/GTC Door Mirror Plinths

Are they rubber or GRP? I recently made one using SUGRU mouldable rubber. I just need to get around to putting together the 'how to' article.

Re: 6a Headlamp Relays.

I've done something very similar to Phil, Except that I have a relay on each side for the dipped beam, so that no single fuse / relay failure can take out all my headlights.

Re: Non-Scimitar - Commuter Car Recommendations

Going to look at a 52 Plate Seat Leon on Saturday. Like a Golf lite i beleive? What should I be wary of? I've not looked at 'ordinary' cars for years (I'm either Landrover or Scimitar / Gilbern).

Thanks

Re: Non-Scimitar - Commuter Car Recommendations

Budget is up to £1500. To make it worthwhile i guess I am looking for at least 50mpg. Tax and insurance as low as possible. Its a mix of 50% smaller single carriageway at either end, with a stint on dual carriageway A roads in the middle. As I have to keep the Discovery, and would like to keep the S...

Non-Scimitar - Commuter Car Recommendations

Hi Folks, Looking for some advice and recommendations for a car to use for commuting. For years I've been blessed with a sub 10 mile commute, which means its simply not been a factor in choosing my cars, and I've been happy to use the Landrover (Towing Wagon) or Scimitar (Fun Car) pretty much on a w...

Re: Tailgate Hinge Bar Repair/Replacement

I took a different approach to this when I had the same problem on my SE6a. I used a powerfile through the existing hinge aperture to grind out as much of the old metalwork as i possibly could, then used epoxy putty to glue a new steel rod (section of tent peg) into the roof. Its probably not as goo...

Until I saw the top gear special, I'd have agreed that it was right to distrust anything with a Lotus badge too!

Re: Paddington - Dead!

Mary had a little lamb
and it was always grunting
She tied it to a five bar gate
and kicked its little, er, moving on.
