Legal beavers out there ?

You don't really need to be a legal beaver, it's pretty clear. You left your house.

plastic digit number plates

Framptons made the raised digit plates for my XJ. Including the bespoke size rear plate, the pair were only £60

No, not been anywhere near the sea, just in a hedge in Hertfordshire since 1985. I don't see this one being saved. The only way would be a replacement chassis and then its star feature, it being an early car, is lost anyway. If anyone wants to take it on, they're welcome to have it for what it owes ...

I thought this was worth showing, I've never seen one this bad before. It was a genuine struggle finding anywhere substantial enough to attach the winch too

My 1968 V6 Coupe has wire wheels. Can they go tubeless?

MWS construct their tubeless wire wheels by filling the valley of the rim with silicone - about 7mm thick

Kevlar Hoses

I know the kevlar reinforced hoses for Scims are pretty poor and don't last long, BUT does anyone have any comments on the quality of their fitment? Are the bends and diameters correct etc?
And are they available for Cologne engined cars as well as the Essex engined ones?

Thanks

Alternative gearbox mounting method?

I guess given the application, it can afford to be pretty solidly mounted so you could either make a poly mount using a kit or maybe even a cut down valve spring would work
