A straight 6 Air box / filter question!

Yes, I’ll grab photos of everything. I have a feeling that the first few cars didn’t have the airboxes and they were added after about 50 cars

A straight 6 Air box / filter question!

The filters you want are AC A2435 which cross references to these

I'll grab some photos of how the box is mounted, but you're missing some aluminium mounting plates and steel brackets. I think I have some spares somewhere though.

They’re not the same as Essex, but Jaguar XK ones may be worth a shot.

Here's the clutch fork boots. One is definitely hard and one certainly isn't supple but usable. I usually soften them by putting them in boiling water for a bit then soaking them in rubber bumper dressing 20190119_135601.jpg The Piper dizzy has the vacuum module removed and altered weights in it fro...

Just having another look, is this the same one that GW had for sale for around £6500? I know the ad says they had it in 2016 but I'm sure I had a look round one there more recently?

The straight sixes do indeed use a ball race bearing rather than a bush. I replace them by removing the flywheel and pressing it all the way through as there’s no special tools required and in this situation you’d always be taking the flywheel off anyway.
