I used the latter Steve but you need to cut steel tubes for the seat bolts to stop the bolts crushing the box section when tightened

I make all measurements via the jacking hard points, body work was loosely draped over the chassis and generally from a distance and thrown underarm, so bodywork shouldn't be trusted :lol:

Yep had an S2 for many years, now sold. Roof is as exactly as pics above except centre section is two piece to stow in the boot. Chimera is one piece as the wedge. Main advantage is centre section is fabric covered GRP and the rear window and fabric section is held under tension so looks solid, does...
