Converting SS1 Front Brakes to Single Line

As Jim says, to find bigger more powerful single line calipers, wouldn't be used to modify original twin line metro calipers to single line. Std brakes work well enough on a road car if in good condition. Poor front to rear or left to right balance suggests a problem to me, would want to find that f...

G130 YCF my first sprint car

Fingers crossed your ecu punt works out well, open source was how MS started and development was slow and a little varied until some of the commercial developers got involved. As most that have gone the standalone route (on any engine or ecu combo) it lives or dies on the mappers ability and skill G...

Ford gearbox nose bearing retainer widget

Has anyone got one of these I can borrow for a couple of weeks to mock up a bellhousing? Ideally from a T5 gearbox (ex cosworth, TVR or Yank Tank) but I'm pretty sure one from a Type 9 will do too Happy to pay postage both ways of course, and a tenner for you trouble (new ones about 45 quid delivere...

QH ain't the company it once was though - now just a trading name of FirstLine components, IIRC.

Balljoints are more than up to the job, according to the texh dept at QH before they shut. I would suggest uppers are replaced with QH or reliant or Vauxhall rather than pattern ones though, coz some of them are rubbish...

Front damper length?

're damper lengths, for your chosen ride height, you will need approx an inch (full blown racer) to 1.5" droop above your chosen ride height measure atbtye wheel (not shock as due to lever ratios that won't be the same. Best way is to have car on trolley jack with no springs, sit at ride height and ...
