I used a quaife in Batmobile and they are vice free and great in all conditions but on terms of ultimate dry grip with huge power may not be as good as a plated diff in theory

Exedy clutches have had an issue with fakes, so unless you can see a reason for the failure may be worth checking it was 100% genuine.
