With plenty of spare time at the moment, decided to get out in the garage to do the jobs that Ive been putting off. Ive managed to get the boot lock to work withthe addition of a home made bracket cum support for the lock barrel. Had to re-fit the old door rubbers as the ones I bought from East Kent...

Had a trip to Project Heaven and had the car set up on a rolling road . After the engine rebuild I now have 134 BHP at the wheels and it certainly feels a lot pokier than before.Did get worried though when he took her up to 5000 rpm. The engine has done about 70 miles so far.It was so good to finall...

Been very quiet on the updates for sometime, mainly cos I havent done much. Finally sorted out the gearbox issues and now smooth gear changes are the norm. The catch is really worn and the 2 rivets that hold the casing together are loose and Ive tried to tighten them but no luck. My boot catch is worn badly. Im after a replacement. Has anyone got one hidden away that they are willing to part with or do we know what manufacturer they are from ?
