Somewhere else on the Forum some time ago, I mentioned how the fast idle cam in Kirsty's carb had gone AWOL and I was 'inventing' a manual arrangement. Well, this went to about 60% completion and I then lost interest in working in a freezing garage, plus other family commitments intruded quite a bit...

But aren't the two apparently opposing paragraphs referring to two different situations? The first is saying that when the vehicle is 40, there is no need for the owner to declare that it is VHI (indeed, there is no mechanism by which to do so), but the second is saying that when it is next licensed...

Half way between Essex and here yesterday and going north, both on single carriers: a glistening black mid-fifties Ford Thunderbird, and later a slightly tatty - for resto - dark-coloured 1999 Reliant Robin reg'd in Leeds.

Thinking about it are you Dave ? - gets a bit lonely having the only Sabre in the NE I was tempted, not arf, but as remarked, I haven't received the inheritance yet - could be months. :shock: A bit torn because although Kirsty's not the only SS1 in the NE, I very rarely see others at shows we're at...
