Is that in the Forebears book or the Reliant Sportscars book, JC?
yes Forebears mate, sorry I missed this post.

Personally I agree with scimjim and 100% think the car should be the metallic green as it has been for most of its life.

Scimitar 1800ti cam belt

Peter, you seem confused.

The crank pulley that drives the aux belt has to be removed. The cam belt pulley also driven by the crankshaft remains in situe.

A few friends of mine ran a firm doing the same with Ford ECU cases so you could plug and play upgrade.

Top effort by the way! :)

Looks like the exhaust needed cleaning a lot more before welding in the lambda probe boss?

I wonder what the pulley is off if the timing marks are wrong?

Was thinking the same.

AJL electronics is a good source for fuel hose by the way.

If I’m honest, I prefer to make them up from thicker metal then the ones we can buy from our traders. As has been said 100% possible in situe.

Short cut short haul - 1 mile in 30mph zone ?

Must admit I would use a dolly or similar for such a short journey.

That being said trailer is the best option, and yeah full straps are needed, I had a car fall off a trailer when parked once... (long story!! Haha)
