6a tyre size

Your speedo will theoretically read a couple of mph “slow”
Speedo will read “fast” so a real 60mph may be 63mph (for example) on your speedo. Agreed, no bad thing.

I’ve got a pair of good cast ones JC. I’ve only got 5a downpipes but new stainless ones are peanuts from the usual suspects iirc?

Cheers

Yes, I use black vinyl paint and think the results look good.

Wouldn’t use it on something that gets touched a lot however, it’s abit like spray paint boot polish.

Remote Oil filter faceplate James - the usual Mocal sandwich plate is still quite close to the RH mount.
That’ll learn me to quick read whilst browsing on my phone

I think the early 2 litre is 115 or 130 BHP and Burtons reckon on 160 with a Weber Alpha kit with everything else as standard - I’m using an adaptor plate for the CVH exhaust manifold, so it will be a bit inneficient - it’s also a 1.8 head and cams, so I’m hoping for a safe 140+ on megasquirt with ...

Lockheed caliper dismantling

Nearly Christmas and I'm still under the car getting out of swimbo's way! Nobody got any ideas? Looks like I'm going to have to get hold of either a new pair of calipers or a recon pair, mine are useless as is and cannot be exchanged. I have a pair of recon callipers with Mintex fast road pads for ...
