If I can add my two peneth on 2k paints.. Don't risk your health cutting corners and cost with Personal Protective Equipment when using 2k / 2 Pack paints and isocyanate containing paint systems. Do what you will but use the best equipment and system possible which will be a fresh air feed only, not...

Ti thermostat - seal or no seal

If it's a rubber seal that goes around the outer ridge of the Thermostat like a mini rubber tyre, then no, you don't need it. Just use the thermostat and the standard gasket as shown in previous diagrams.

Plan ahead and you'll be ok. Years ago I owned a car that had no reverse gear and in two years I only got stuck once. :)

I didn't see this event mentioned on the forum until now. I'm not 'a member' of the club but when the do is rescheduled would a non member be able to attend with a Scim and other Reliants?

If so, where are or where will be all the details of the evnt please?

For Sale - TSW 11 Spoke Black 15" Alloy Wheels with good Toyo T1R 205 50 15 Tyres. 4x100 4x108

Few questions if you don't mind.

Will they bolt straight onto a standard SE5??
Will they need suitable matching nuts ar do they fit with the standard ones?

Have you any means of posting them out?

I do admire your motivation.

Obviously a motivated individual in work and play, but what's your take on the driving force behind it?

No pun or piss take intended, just a curious observation.

Radio turns off while idiling

Must be a bad earth or poor 12v connection at the stereo. Could even be inside the stereo itself. Check the voltage at the 12v input to the stereo, if same as battery voltage with engine off, check it at idle and at revs. If all voltages at the stereo match battery voltage in these test environments...

SS1 1800 CVH Door card woes

The door not opening from inside or out when the door card is fitted will be due to the door card rubbing on or slightly restricting the free movement of the linkages at the rear of the door for the door open mechanism and or pop up locking pin that pops up through the door card. They have adjusters...

Overheating SE5a got me thinking about my 6a...

This may sound nuts but I know the smelll of the engines in my Reliants so well that if ever they've running hot my nose always picks it up.. I've been known (but hopefully not seen) to sniff various parts of my cars on a regular basis, exhausts, manifolds, carbs, fuel lines, coolant, tyres and even...
