I'm in hertfordshire too and wouldn't mind viewing your Sabre Turbo if you're free over the weekend. Clear your old private messages, I've sent you a PM.

I won’t buy off QRG, would scrap the car first!
I've found QRG to be 100% reputable, reliable, trustworthy and accountable in all respects from over the phone parts ordering to in house Scimitar repairs.

London T-Charge

Kahn n co would have to PAY ME to drive into London, its an overpopulated infested dump of a city. Good luck to anyone that wants to drive into the charging zones of their free will. I used to work all around central london and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, let alone pay to do so. If you live there,...

If you can draw air through the vac line then regulator diaphram has gone. Engine could be flooded.. Unplug fuel pump fuse an...

Two adjustment screws near the idle valve on the inlet. One facing the drivers wing adjusts base idle speed, one 90 degrees round the side of it, facing the radiator should control the idle up circuit idle speed / cut in. Worth a tweek of either to see if you can stable out the idle up (choke) engin...

Still sounds like a coolant temperature sensor issue. Have you tried a new one? What about trying another ECU?

Rear drop links alternatives for SS1/Sabre

I spoke with Graham Walkers a few weeks ago and they were already looking at sourcing or having a batch of these knocked up. They might have them available by now but I've been too busy to ask them.

Bad earths or terminal connections might be causing the blowing bulbs, and causing the poor connection to the limit swicthes that should stop the lights when up or down. Try cleaning up all the connections at the relays and connectors from fuse box to headlights too.

Ss1 Ti fuel hoses again

If it's a Ti, make sure you have some form of flare or barb on the nylon fuel inlet line as it's high pressure and likely to blow a rubber hose off a smooth standard nylon line.
