No it will be no problem it was off the road before sorn came into force and is therefore not needed until its under new ownership (its in the DVLA directions if you read it all the way through you will see the ref )

Yes you are right about the cutting they have 10 "letters" along the shaft, today's machines can only do up to 8 (if you can find a locksmith who does this). Very Interesting. I'm assuming that the the column is adjustable? It's that that would present a need for additional bracketry I can certainly see it would be easier to mode the column to suit the car than vice versa but I would not have thought of putting such a bracket on the other side of the bu...

Yes I fitted it to my se5a I will have a look for the photos it was easier to remove all the mgf brackets and weld one new on on in the style of the original. just to add to this I have two supports for the coulomb the original style triangular bracket then bolts to the dash (I made a new one ) and ...

Alternative Steering Column?

The mgf has a telescopic column makes it easy to fit .it is not canbus . The universal steering bosses are easy to obtain and you can fit any wheel you want then . I fitted a support bearing on the engine bay fairly easy to do .

Rear light cluster

I have converted my original lights to led panels and the lens and lights can be removed from the outside ( i have fitted nutserts to the car and nutserts to the lights it's much easier )
