Red (I think) 5a spotted HAH 26IN in Lutterworth

Spotted 3 or so roads away, in lovely red with "the great" and then another line in slightly faded red.

Re: Ben's (wedding is done) 1975 SE5a

The project was all steam ahead (lots of swearing, bleeding, general anger was involved, but we got the engine out). As we all know, the car was my wedding car, which makes things slightly awkward now. I'm getting divorced, and as a result I'm not sure if I want to keep the car. It has too many memo...

Silver SS1 & Yellow GTC in Leicester sainsburys

In sainsburys petrol station on wednesday around 19:30 was a silver SS1 plate ending OWA I think. Today wife spotted a yellow GTC as I was too busy avoiding suicidal traffic at the same spot around 12.

Re: SE6a - poor running problem

Martin North came over today and gave a once over of the car, he replaced the fuel pump (me looking like a spare part) and gave his thoughts, great to have a fresh pair of eyes on the car. I'm starting to fall in love with the idea of a 6a...I must be getting old.

Re: Oaksey's 5a

The boot lock is quite simple actually (even I could do it!) unfortunately after I fully serviced mine and made it like new, some goit tried to break in to the boot in a car park near glastonbury. Luckily the boot lock held and they didn't get the camping gear out of the boot, unfortunately the lock...

Re: SE6a - poor running problem

Dad is away until Wednesday, he got to the petrol station then had to turn back to grab the Honda. Lots of smoke from bonnet and problems with power again, can someone advise? I'm going to check the gasket oil assumption above if I get a chance to tomorrow, and refit original fuel pump. - is this a ...

Re: Ben's (wedding is done) 1975 SE5a

Lovely, I hadn't had a chance to see those yet! When did you do all this work on the car?! I've got to admit I get a little ashamed when I see the crusty rear of my car...how do people usually paint their scimitars? Axle stands don't really lift it high enough for good access to paint let alone scru...

Re: Ben's (wedding is done) 1975 SE5a

So the car has entered a new restoration phase, and was estimated to be done next November. The wife has now decided we should drive to her parents in Portugal for Christmas this year, so we can take dogs (and bring some wine back  ).

Expect updates soon as a result! Panic stations!

Re: Green Middlebridge in Leicester

That's the one, would love to know as I say if the owner goes to/works at our local gym, as that puts them about 10 doors away.

Green Middlebridge in Leicester

Very close to my home, a green Scimitar at Nuffield Health Centre Leicester. Was there getting hair cut - if a member/regular or staff (as it was as far away from everyone else/entrance as possible) would be interesting to hear! I assume with the 77 it isn't the number 77 that went for a fortune lat...

I didn't make a note of the reg, sorry! Wife was freaking out about tiny roads so only got a chance for a glimpse at it.
