Hi will.
Yes I have purchased an lpg gas injection set up. It’s in the thread. I’ve had to drill the “injectors” read pipes, into the inlet manifold.

Agreed. I hate buying cr*p tools so I try to buy Britool, or so called Expert ranges (Halfords, Draper) or even own brands eg, b&q or named Bosch, Ryobi but it is a real lottery. some cheap tools have lasted very well (Draper Expert impact Driver - 10 years hard use and still going strong and then t...

Hi alan, I'd reinforced the roof beam and propped it either side of the car with the equivalent of upright 4 x 3. The block and tackle is Silverline 1 tonne, bought three or four years ago but basically boxed up until about 4 months ago. Bit frustrating. I'm trying to work out who i bought it from; ...

I'm going skiing next week so the plan was to get the car with engine to the fabricator. and next week whilst im on the slopes and enjoying a quiet hot choc...

Lowering is well explained within this site however changing the geometry is an easy but unwanted side effect and better avoided if possible. I use pcd adaptors and now run 16" mgzr hairpin with 205 55 16 which fill the arch lovely.

Is a 5A improved over a 5 ?
Get the best quality in your budget. Both versions are great and will offer tons of fun, enjoyment, wow factor etc. It's only a few geeks on this website who know the difference :D :D myself included. To everyone else they're the same, so it's a question of what you want, really, rather than what yo...

Great stuff. Strip the engine and look to see what's damaged. I 've stripped and rebuilt the Essex lots. It's a great engine and very easy to work on. I'm also doing an engine conversion on my 5a. Its straight forward but still a fair amount of work. If i was you i would repair / keep the essex in s...
