New paddle clutch plate seems to have done the trick. After a 50 ish gentle miles to allow everything to bed in, she’s performing well. Managed 0-60 in 8s without any drama. The brakes are good, but the back is a tad quick to lock up. Not daft braking, just pressing the pedal progressively harder an...

Does Run Fast 351 Eventually!

Hi Brian,

Exhaust headers look great.

How did you get on with the steering rack refurb. I have three racks, all with an amount of play. So wanting to do summit with one of them at least.

5a Hub Stud bolt spec

Its 35mm one side at the back 20 the other !

Good point re spacers. But I still need longer studs. Do you know the spec ?

I need to bring one wheel back under the arch so converting from pcd adaptor back to oem stud pattern.

5a Hub Stud bolt spec

Hi all. I'm after some longer studs for the 5a front / rear hubs. What 'spec' are the original studs please (I know nothing about these so don't know what to ask for) . I want to introduce spacers to align the new wheels & tyres with the body. At the moment, due to Reliant engineering, no two are th...

Must admit I thought it was 6 but it was all verbal, then this turned up. Is there a significant difference between 6 and 4 paddles.

Just got dressed to go down the garage then changed my mind. Think I’ll read a book.its dark and cold down there, warm and cosy in here.

It must still be partially engaged with your foot completely off the peal then? Thought long and hard about this Jim, and took measurements but I’ve got the other scenario. The clutch is only engaging on full depress so it’s disengaging fully, I hope. Hence ordered the 6paddle I don't follow - the ...

I reassembled clutch and gearbox but clutch still slipping so I’ve ordered a 6paddle clutch. Due to arrive tomorrow. Went for a 20mile blast yesterday and even with the iffy clutch was still epic. No passenger door,no passenger seat, no bonnet, no gbox tunnel so sound from exhaust and induction was ...

I’ve talked at length with precision clutches in zummerset. We think the current setup isn’t man enough. Last night I went out and had a 20 mile blast. If I try to use full acceleration she slips. If I slightly fettle the acceleration, she’s fine. Still accelerates like a lunatic (well sounds like i...
