Yes, of course, I remember now! I seem to remember thinking they were made in Oz, but happy to be corrected. Is his coupe finished? I know he was having quite serious health issues when I last followed his progress, so hope he is okay.

I bought them direct and can assure you I didn't pay a lot more than I asked for them and, having been out of the Scimitar world for a while I didn't really have much idea of the current price.

Sorry about misleading on the country of manufacture - that was my recollection.

Yes, the SE5 has gone to pastures new and I am Scimless again. This latest car was a bitter disappointment and has somewhat spoiled the memory of the SE5 I had in the early 70s. Turns out that it is a diode in the Alternator which my local auto-sparks can replace for me tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
