Re: Annual service
Back to the trunnion, I managed to get a jack under the thing (first jack the car up, put it on stands, take off the wheel ...) And after trying a 1 euro coin in various alignments I came to the conclusion that either the idea doesn't work or it only works in sterling. So I must get round to changi...

Re: Creative Sports Cars - Venom GTE

Best phone Martin Jay on 01984 629 540 and see if he has a rotor for your specific distributor type.

You can't mix oval ports and D ports. If you have D port heads then you need a D port inlet manifold surely.RockerPhill wrote:Is that a bad thing?toomanysabres wrote:WHAT!!!RockerPhill wrote: The inlet manifold gasket looked fine, though I did in the process discover that my oval port Essex has d port heads! Re: Standard and leaving it that way Coupe
Hope the Intermotor bits are not rotor arms. You should get the red ones from Distributor Doctor. Black ones with rivets are a BIG problem. Nearly cost me a bucket load of penalties on a rally. Read Martin Jay's write up here. http://www.distributordoctor.com/red-rotor-arms.html also read here http:...

Re: Fix for an over-reading temp gauge
The voltage regulator has to be earthed otherwise the bi-metal oscillating switch won't work. It will probably pass through 12volts and give a high reading. Although the fuel gauge would respond similarly.
