Just to share more info on this that others may find useful. The original brass press fit studs on door cards have a diameter of 7.5mm the new cards from GA come with plastic studs 6.5mm. Bresco will sell the correct size ones for these studs... I’m yet to fit them

Thanks Will, Flat hat and Scim Jim off line for a bit. I am just after the chrome arm and blade, the motor seems to work ok. I am based in Hove, East Sussex I will check out that site... kinda want them to stay in place now and not wreck them getting off to replace the odd female captive..

Hi All, so couple of quick points, does anyone know where I can get a complete rear wiper, is it shared with other cars? And, just got two new door cards, they have the male plastic studs in, but the female ones that go into door are NLA, and pretty old/knackered.. Has anyone found a source, or alte...

Thanks for replies. Turns out it was the purple feed wire that had 2 points of corrosion ( that had turned copper to dust) about 20mm up from the connector in the boot cubby locker.. Very strange how the copper either side of it was ok.... a small lump in the wire gives it away.. One more off the li...

Interior lights not working Se5a

Hi, trying to get the interior lights working today.. no power to any of them, nor the cigarette lighter that I think is on the same circuit.. Can anyone suggest any obvious places to start please. It’s a 72 car

big thanks to you all for your insights, I have gained a lot of very useful information that I can share with the body shop when I am in tomorrow getting a few checks done ahead of a possible trip from Sussex up to the Scimitar gathering to get all the parts I need and learn something about the car....
