GTC on the motorhog website

Hi there I posted notification of this on the face ache yesterday but couldn't get on here at the time. There's a scimitar GTC on there that's due to finish on Saturday. From the comments on faceache it's a known car that needs some restoration, there's also a link to you tube showing the engine run...

Heated front screen.

I have a question.

Is it worth having a heated front screen for a car that only gets used occasionally ?

Are there any real benefits ?

Thanks

My ongoing ss1 restoration

It is definitely a small world regarding cars. Mine looked like yours did before you started. having seen how bad your chassis is i'm going to give mine a good look over before I start repairing it !! It had galvanised replacement sills put on it but I don't know what the rest is like as I haven't r...

Identifying an lsd

It definitely is an LSD unit, there's no prop or anything else fitted and no matter what i do ican't get it to freewheel...

Identifying an lsd

Hi I think I'm right but want to double check something. Is there any markings on the outside of a lsd unit to identify it? On the car I'm stripping I think it may have an lsd unit. If I jack one wheel up off the floor it won't rotate and tries to drive the other side. If I lift up both wheels they ...

SS1 for sale on the facebook market place.

Hi there's an ss1 for sale on the facebook market place located in slough.

There are very few details and the comment says totally sealed chassis ( who know's what that means !)

They haven't prepared the car in anyway and are asking £500 for it.

I've linked it into the RSSOC facebook page.

ss1 body tub / chassis parts

Hi there i'm currently stripping an ss1 with a rotten chassis (sills have gone but they could be replaced ). The parts off it are being used to repair another car. Is the body tub / chassis useful to anyone ? I'll be getting the windscreen taken out for another car. It seems a shame to chop it up bi...

Bradbury Four Post Lift

I can find out tonight on the way home as there is a Bradbury four poster down the farm.
Is it just the raising leg height you need to know or anything else.?

Not sure if I can help out. I live just outside tamworth, approx.
