Superpro Bush Kit - Review

I've been the the superflex place, and the people are really helpful and would happily sell you individual bushes or sets. They said to me that they could match a bush from stock if I gave them dimensions. They also admitted that they aren't experts on all makes of car and relied on owners giving th...

Thank you. I've got it off and finished work on Rat Rod for the day so you get a rest bite from my stupid question for a bit.

Rat Rod (progress)

Thanks Phil I was just looking at the parts catalogue and realised. Next stupid question, how do i separate the trunnion from the vertical link. I'm being a biff and it looks like it's just sat in, what secures it in place?

Rat Rod (progress)

Well that got serious quickly. I set about removing the front suspension this morning. the trunnion and its bolt gave become one, my plan was to remove the whole thing brakes/hub complete and address the trunnion on the bench. Well the front lower arm gad also become one with its bolt. After pen oil...

Rat Rod (progress)

Ladies and Gentlemen Since getting Rat Rod I've been plagued with electrickery problems, most recent are the lights. They worked a few months ago but when i checked them a few weeks ago one indicator was playing up, then the side lights stoped working then they worked, then I could have main beam or...

Way too low

I measured my damper unloaded (car is up on axel stands) and middle of the top bolt to middle of the bottom bolt is 390mm. I was going to measure it off the car as well but the trunnion and its bolt have become one. If I managed to part them I'll let you know. Not sure if it helps but I'm taking the...

Would jacking it and measuring the unloaded length add anything to the discussion. Mine is on axel stands and I could measure the unloaded length this afternoon.

Way too low

Now I'm no expert and am standing by to be shot down but...

Is it not more likely that the dampers are wrong. The spring looks over compressed to me, which is causing the curve.

Thank you for this, at least I now know what diagram to follow, a previous owner decided to rip out the fuse box and replace with slot fuses split over 2 boxes, a real nest of wires. Thanks again
And I thought my PO wiring was a headache, good luck 🤞

No wanting to spread panic or alarm but rat rod has slightly lowered front suspension (spacers not wishbones swapped) and low profile tyres (being changed soon) and it's not as low as yours. My front valance is about 5 inches from the floor. Sorry it's up on axel stands and I'm on holiday so I can't...

Does anyone know anything about se5a TIL2921

I emailed the auction house just because I was in a strange mood, and pointed out that it appeared to be a 5a but couldn't be a 1970 5a because of the production dates. I got this response Thanks for your email about the Reliant Scimitar which is in our next auction on 4th September. You are quite r...
