Things people have said about your Scimitar

My Simca looked a bit more like a Scimitar ... ok it was at least a break de chasse ;-) Motor well prepared, standard suspension superb (the break was not the same as the saloon!) It would do 100mph and handled very well, plus it flew straight on big yumps in the Yorkshire forests - and on minor roa...

Alternative Coupé register ;-)

I have Mick J's name on one of the pics of FWB, no dates, no other details.

Roy, I don't know how you can bear to show that photo.
And it wasn't even an Essex which caught fire ...

Alternative Coupé register ;-)

Still plodding along, I seem to have twenty-odd cars which are not on Matt's site (though it is difficult to check without the chassis numbers).
Some are quite well-known and/or factory cars.
Here are the first five, does anyone know anything about them?

Sorry, should have said HGV tyre testing, they apparently mounted lorry tyres on a test wheel inside the cabin.
What they then did to / with them I've no idea.
Mind you, that machine must be a pretty Heavy Goods Vehicle itself ...

Google doesn't recognise Jaguar XF.
I don't recognise modern Jaguars in general (type F is an exception).
But you couldn't mistake that one, is it a hearse?

Incidentally the Citroën is a mobile tyre testing station built for Michelin.

Scimba - Just add fuel

How thick is too thick? Cutting gaskets is easy, even I can do it. Mastic is even easier 8) I think Sikaflex (or other polymer / polyurethane) mastic is resistant to everything short of a thermonuclear attack. But, as they say, read the label to be sure. Also, it seems to me that Hermetite do a petr...
