Alternative Coupé register ;-)

DAN FROMM, New Jersey imported FRF 367E chassis 0568 (lhd?) in oct ‘79 He said in 1980 that chassis 0057 (rhd) was probably a red car advertised for sale in Road ...

I thought it sounded sportier!

I found when I re-fixed my headers that there was a mix of nut head sizes  Apparently they used to exist in smaller size(s) but were 'standardised' at 17mm. I needed quite a few because I had to disc off several nuts. I managed to find a couple with smaller heads - and I was lucky that a few s...

Dual circuit brakes

Ah, well as usual I have got hold of the wrong end of the stick. So you think the new-in-2011 master cylinder is the problem ? I have never interfered with a dual circuit master cylinder, can one change the pistons/seals like a single circuit? Are they available? Edit - now I come to think of it, it...

Dual circuit brakes

Hmm, I wondered if it was weeping a bit.
But the fluid level hasn't gone down, just the pedal
To recap the symptoms, when I press the pedal, at first nothing happens, then towards the bottom of the travel the brakes work but I have to press very hard on the pedal.

Dual circuit brakes

As mentioned elsewhere, Dark Star has dual circuit brakes, which work very well except ... the SS1 servo has decided it's all a bit too much after eight years and so I decided to change it - after days of work on the Jaguar to change the sump gasket and spark plugs (see thread Jaguar X-type :? ) it ...

Alternative Coupé register ;-)

The connerievirus has had one positive effect, with time to research I and several others have been busy finding Scimitar Coupés. So busy in fact that I am overwhelmed. I have managed to update the register (about eight times in three days) and I now have photos of well over 500 cars. Which is a bit...

That is VERY nice, last seen 2015 in Surrey, originally white, belonged to T Whitehall of Alsager in Cheshire in 1979.
The spare car behind isn't bad either 8)
