Bogging at 4000 rpm

I am getting completely lost in conversion charts, and Goodridge's site is no help at all. Demon Tweeks' isn't much better but their paper catalogue has some possibilities I am studying. Must check the exact dimensions ... wish I had vernier calipers in inch fractions. Anyway, I have found a JIC siz...

More french Scimitars for sale

Yes, that is a recent addition.
I think it is an air scoop, installed by someone who obviously doesn't understand overheating problems.
It might work if it was the other way round ...

Another one in Gironde (33) and one in Isère (38)
Both known, both imported by Noël Chambellan many years ago.

Strange that you should say that Andy 8) Parallel thinking, french plumbers use inch sizes (really!!!), no 1 son is a plumber. A rummage amongst available plumbing parts came up with this alternative with female thread in 7/8 unf and male in 3/4. The french call these 1/2 and 3/8 respectively, so yo...

Bogging at 4000 rpm

Exactly as Gavin said, the blue bit is a dash 10 JIC (why 10 I wonder). Now, having spent an hour and a half removing the damn thing and another hour perusing the Goodridge catalogue, it appears that connectors of 7/8 inch are only available with 16 mm (5/8 inch) outlet  At the outlet end of t...

Alternative Coupé register ;-)

I don't think it is Markus' car (unless he has more than one) This is the gold car in 2012 (definitely - I seem to be having trouble with dates lately  ) And Markus' car which I believe is a photo from 2018. It looks bronze rather than gold, has no wheel trims and would have to have had a hard...

So a 16 mm / 8 mm reducer is a standard item ?
I'll get my Demon Tweeks bible out tomorrow.

The first length of pipe is 16 mm, that's the problem (well, one of them).
Yes the filter is 8 mm (Sytech), the original was 12 mm (Ford), the origin of the 16 mm I don't know
So, is there such a thing as 16 mm petrol pipe ?

Bogging at 4000 rpm

The tank is standard ...

I suppose I'll just have to take the blue connector off and see if I can get one that fits with a 12 mm (or better still 8 mm) outlet.
Serious perusal of Demon Tweeks catalogue to follow.
